Accounts and who may use Growing Years

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Growing Years is designed for a parent, legal guardian, or other authorised adult to manage a child's records; it is not intended for a child to operate independently. You represent that you are authorised to provide and manage the information you enter about each child and any other person.

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in method and device, and tell us promptly at support@growing-years.com if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account except to the extent caused by our failure to meet a legal duty.

Not medical advice or an emergency service

Growing Years is an organisational and informational tool. It does not provide medical care, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, dosage instructions, emergency monitoring, or a clinician-patient relationship. Anna and other automated features can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your child.

Never delay professional care because of content in Growing Years. In an emergency, suspected poisoning, severe symptom, or immediate safety concern, contact the local emergency service or an appropriate medical professional now. Review the Safety Notice before using health or AI information.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain your rights in information and files you submit. You give KERNELICS LLP a limited, worldwide licence to host, copy, transmit, format, analyse, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support the service and provide the functions you request according to the Privacy Notice and your choices. This licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to legal, security, provider, backup, and residual limits described in the Privacy Notice.

You are responsible for checking the accuracy of records, maintaining any original medical documents you need, obtaining authority to upload another person's information, and deciding what to share with clinicians or caregivers. Growing Years is not the official medical record of a healthcare provider.

Growing Years and intellectual property

Growing Years, including its software, user interface, branding, logos, templates, and content supplied by us, but excluding your content, is owned by or licensed to KERNELICS LLP and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Growing Years or our intellectual property to you.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Growing Years for its intended purpose on devices you own or control. Except where applicable law permits otherwise, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, decompile, reverse engineer, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit Growing Years or our content without prior written permission.

For an iOS download, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and applicable App Store usage rules also govern the app licence unless a custom licence agreement is presented for the app. These Terms govern the Growing Years service and do not limit mandatory rights under applicable law or store terms.

AI features

AI features are optional and remain off unless you make the required affirmative choice. The standalone AI Processing Consent explains what may be sent to OpenAI and how to withdraw. Refusing or withdrawing consent does not remove non-AI diary, planner, account, legal, deletion, or subscription-management features.

AI output is generated probabilistically and may contain errors, omit context, confuse records, or present outdated information. Check important information against the original source and a qualified professional. Do not use AI output as the sole basis for a medical, safety, legal, financial, or other high-impact decision. We do not guarantee a particular result, provider response, model, or uninterrupted availability.

Subscriptions, stores, and credits

Some features require a paid subscription or usage credits. The price, billing period, trial, included features, renewal terms, and taxes shown by Apple App Store at purchase are the terms of that transaction. RevenueCat helps us reconcile purchase and entitlement status but does not replace Apple as the payment provider.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple before its deadline. Deleting Growing Years or scheduling account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription. Manage cancellation, billing, and eligible refunds through Apple under the store's rules. In-app credits are a limited service entitlement, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be consumed when the stated operation begins. Mandatory consumer remedies remain unaffected.

Acceptable use

Do not use Growing Years to break the law or another person's rights; access an account or record without permission; upload malicious code; probe or bypass security, rate limits, entitlement checks, or consent controls; interfere with the service; automate excessive requests; reverse engineer except where law permits; misrepresent AI output as professional medical advice; or use the service to harm, exploit, or endanger a child or another person.

We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict the affected feature or account where reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, KERNELICS LLP, or the public, while respecting applicable law.

Availability and changes

Growing Years is offered internationally, but a store, network, device feature, payment method, calendar, notification route, or third-party provider may be unavailable or restricted in a particular place or at a particular time. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may maintain, secure, change, suspend, or discontinue a feature and will give notice when required by law.

Editorial changes to these Terms do not require acceptance again. If we materially change your obligations, payment terms, dispute position, permitted use, or another substantive term, we publish a new Terms version and require acceptance before continued use. Separate Privacy, AI Processing Consent, and Safety versions change only when their own content changes.

Suspension, termination, and deletion

You may stop using Growing Years at any time. You can choose Delete now, which starts irreversible deletion immediately, or Schedule deletion in 30 days, which can be cancelled before the cutoff. Both choices immediately freeze normal access and future AI, analytics, push, and calendar work. At the selected cutoff, a resumable process erases the active account and directly owned service data and invokes applicable provider and device deletion boundaries. The Privacy Notice explains the scope, residual limits, and how to submit a rights request.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or harm, or if we must do so for legal, security, store, or provider reasons. Where appropriate, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Provisions that by their nature must continue, including accrued payment duties, ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, disputes, and lawful record retention, survive termination.

Responsibility and limits of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that rule, Growing Years is supplied as available; we do not warrant that user content, automated output, reminders, synchronisation, or third-party services will always be accurate, complete, timely, secure, or available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KERNELICS LLP is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss caused by relying on Growing Years instead of obtaining professional care, by inaccurate information you enter, or by a third-party service outside our reasonable control. You remain responsible for backups of original documents and for medical and safety decisions. This section does not reduce any remedy the law where you live makes mandatory.

Governing law, disputes, and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections or any right to bring a claim in another court granted by the law where you habitually live.
